Wingers tend to wear boots that are not designed to withstand the demands of Rugby. Professional players needed a solution that combines a secure tight-fitting boot that does not sacrifice comfort and durability.
Speed Infinite Elite exists to question the reality of movement. Referencing quantum mechanics, simulation theory and declassified extra-terrestrial activity, distinctions between past, future, real and virtual are eroded.
The creation process began by reverse engineering Canterbury’s previous speed boot through a reductive lens (pictured below). Reducing bulk, integrating function, refining form and providing relevance through design storytelling.
